THE POORS

They went where the money is.
We stayed where the history is.

A home for every community that gave its trust—and was left behind.

§01 — Identity

Who are the Poors?

The Poors are the people who stayed.

  1. The ones who gave their money, time and trust.
  2. Who tested, built, helped and waited.
  3. Who watched the rules change around them.
  4. Who were told they no longer mattered.

And somehow,we’re still here.

RUGGED DILUTED MIGRATED FORGOTTEN STILL HERE

Mascot file — Poor Cat

Tired. Not done.

Poor Cat has read the roadmaps. Waited through the delays. Moved chains. He remembers who stayed—and he’s not leaving them behind.

They say“Community first.”
Which community?
They say“New chain. New beginning.”
Again?
They say“Exciting tokenomics update.”
Here we go.
They say“We’re building.”
Building what? And where?
§02 — Declaration

The Poor Manifesto

We are
the Poors.

For every community that was used, diluted, migrated or left behind.

I — The name

We’re not called the Poors because we’re poor.
The name started as an insult.

It also comes from a history many of us wish we didn’t have to remember.

II — What we gave

We believed in projects.

We bought the tokens.

We provided the liquidity.

We tested products that weren’t finished.

We spread the word.

We bought the NFTs.

We accepted delay after delay.

We accepted new protocols.

We accepted migrations.

We accepted dilution.

We accepted new roadmaps.

Because we believed the community and the project were building something together.

III — What we learned

Later we learned that for some projects, “community” only exists while you’re still useful.

When the market turns:

The chain can change The narrative can change The tokenomics can change The token can be reissued Old users can be replaced by new ones

Even years of promises can be deleted as if they never happened.

And the people who put in their money, their time and their trust are left with one word.

Poor
IV — Our part

Sure, we could blame ourselves. Crypto has always been a high-risk market. Nobody forced us to buy anything. We made our own decisions, and we own our losses.

But losing an investment and being played are not the same thing.

  • A project fails.We can accept that
  • The tech fails. We can accept that
  • The market rejects the product. We can accept that
  • The token goes to zero.Even that

Risk is part of crypto. That was always the deal.

What we can’t accept

Raising money on a community’s trust, again and again.

Changing the rules, again and again.

And once the old community stops being worth anything, leaving it behind.

V — We’ve seen this movie before

The Poors don’t belong to one project’s story. We’ve watched the same script play out too many times.

They said“Community first.”

Then the community was the last to know.

They said“Long term.”

Six months later, a different chain.

They said“Fair launch.”

Then the community found out someone else already had cheaper bags.

They said“We’re building.”

So the community kept waiting.

Until one day the project left. The community didn’t.

VI — That’s the Poors

The ones who were left behind.

  • The ones who lived through a rug.
  • A migration.
  • A dilution.
  • A tokenomics rewrite.
  • Another broken “community first.”
  • And everyone who ever put their honest trust in a project.
VII — For the record

Kindness is not a mistake. Integrity is not a mistake. Trust should never be a punchline.

The real problem A project built through its community’s support shouldn’t get to pretend those people never existed once they stop being profitable.

VIII — So we’re keeping the name

The Poors.

Not to beg for sympathy. Not for revenge. Definitely not to find a fresh crowd to exit on.

We’re keeping it because we won’t let these stories be deleted.

  • No promise of wealth.
  • No promise of a 100x.
  • No promise to change anyone’s life.
  • We can’t promise that we’ll always get it right.

For us, this name means one thing:

We were here.

We contributed We believed We lost We were left behind But we didn’t disappear

They went where the money is. We stayed where the history is.

Projects can migrate. Protocols can vanish. Tokens can go to zero.

But history can’t be reset. And a community shouldn’t be deleted.

We are the Poors. Still here.
Still poor.

It began with MOTO.It belongs to everyone who was left behind.

§03 — Our beginning

Three years.
Still here.

OSHI → CBRC-20 → OP_NET → Ethereum

Read the MOTO story

We followed a promise to build on Bitcoin. Through OSHI, MOTO, changing protocols and another migration, we kept giving it our time, money and trust.

In our founder’s account, after announcing the move from OP_NET to Ethereum, the team dissolved the existing groups, deleted the messages and stopped communicating with the old community. According to our founder’s recollection, Danny referred to the old community as “the Poors” in a private conversation with a large holder. The chat was forwarded among community members at the time, but the original record is no longer available to independently verify the exact wording or full context.

What hurt wasn’t only the loss. It was years of support ending in abandonment and mockery.

So we kept the name.
And started a community of our own.

MOTO is where Poor Club began. Other communities have their own names, their own losses and their own people who stayed. There is room for them here.

From the founder’s first-hand account. The MOTO file keeps the full chronology, source notes and unresolved questions together.

§04 — Community archive

Our stories
stay here.

A place for the communities behind the charts.
Each community gets its own file. Its people, its history, its receipts.

How we keep the record

People first.

First-hand accounts stay in the storyteller’s voice. A community’s history is more than a price chart.

Sources beside claims.

Announcements, transactions and recollections are identified for what they are. Unresolved questions stay open.

Room to correct.

Each file has dated notes. Corrections and responses belong with the story, not out of sight.
